Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Broken feta cheese salad with apples and pears

    • jane_rk05yq on February 09, 2026

Made with just pear, and delicious; especially the dressing with the walnut oil, which was subtle and not too vinegary

  • Risotto rice pudding with Cognac sultanas

    • Pamsy on October 21, 2023

This was much nicer than an oven baked rice pud. I used Alpro Almond milk and Elmlea fake cream. Only needs occasional stirring unlike savoury risotto. Had to sub rum for cognac and no oranges but still very good. Definitely worth repeating. Even better the following day, the best rice pudding since being dairy intolerant.
