I really wanted to love this recipe that promised a gooey center that needed to be chilled to firm up. Didn't happen. The recipe does call for 1/2 regular flour & 1/2 whole wheat pastry flour, but even so, this ended up being the cakiest (leaning toward slightly dry) brownie I've ever made. The flavor was nice, but the texture, oh so disappointing. Not sure what happened. My oven tends to run under temp, & I only baked it the lower range of the cooking time so who knows? Maybe the wrong oven temp was in the recipe, maybe the liquid ratio was off. Probably won't make again bc there are surely better brownie recipes out there.
