Publishers Text

Potatoes, both Irish and sweet, are First Family Americans, and though of ancient and very honorable lineage, they are of the most humble origin, and have lived all their early life as companion of the poor. Today their value as food is clearly recognized and so appreciated that they are one of the mainstays or rich and poor alike.
