      Not bad, but need salt and brown deeply on bottom while remaining pale on top. Would be improved by flipping halfway through cooking.

  • Warm potato salad

      I was looking for a warm potato salad that didn’t include bacon and this one looked like it would work well as a side for my bratwurst And sauerkraut entree. I really liked the celery and bell pepper in this. They added a nice crunch and extra flavor. The olive oil & mustard dressing is simple but delicious. I liked this better than my husband (who said it was good but not as good as traditional German potato salad) and will probably make again and add bacon for my husband’s portion.

      Very nice gremolada recipe here. For me this one was unique in that it called for ground coriander - it works well as the taste are perfectly balanced. I added a bit more olive oil and also added about two tbsp of toasted pine nuts. I served this with braised osso buco.

      One of my favourite gremolada recipes. This time I doubled the recipe and added a half cup of basil (needed to use it). A Very good idea! I am stirring this into soup, spreading onto flatbread and serving with various meats. Highly recommend this variation!
