  • Asparagus and tarragon soup

    • Pamsy on May 30, 2022

      Recipe missing from index. P40

  • Spinach and rosemary soup

    • Pamsy on March 14, 2022

This soup was a beautiful vibrant green, looked amazing served in white soup plates. Easy to make and very tasty. I only added 400mls milk and cream, any more and it would have been too thin.

  • Greek lemon chicken soup

    • eva.mtr on January 17, 2026

this was tasty, but I added way more lemon juice as I love lemony taste, and it also definitely needed more seasoning (but would depend on the stock you are using). Didn’t fully understand the need of adding more vegetables to the stock since the chicken stock linked already has them as the base. Overall, we liked the soup, will definitely make again but will test other recipes of this

  • Beef and sweet potato goulash soup

    • Alisonk on January 23, 2026

      Delicious ??

  • Pea and coriander soup

    • Pamsy on February 08, 2022

First of many recipes I want to cook from this book and if they're all as good as this, I'll be very happy. I wouldn't have thought to pair peas and coriander {mint definitely} but it worked and due to the cooking method the soup was a lovely vibrant green colour. Quick, easy and ingredients I always have in store.

  • Curried butternut squash soup

    • Pamsy on January 09, 2026

Just what's needed on a cold, wet, January day. I was 150gr short of squash so added 2 potatoes and (of course) a couple of handfuls of red lentils. As well as the suggested topping of pumpkin seeds I also added toasted coconut flakes. Mr P gave it a 5 star rating!

  • Simple celery and nutmeg soup

    • Nichill on January 01, 2022

Surprisingly flavourful. Cooked very easily in a soup maker (so veg not sweated), which may have given it too much of a raw garlic flavour, but I didn't think it was excessive. I expected it to need cream, but it was fine without.

  • Brussels sprout soup with candied bacon and roasted hazelnuts

    • FJT on January 17, 2022

This is a delicate tasting, creamy soup that would work without the toppings. I just pan-fried some lardons until crispy for a garnish rather than making candied bacon or roasting nuts. Very nice; will make again.
