      I thought I was going to love this. as I love the ingredients and the other reviews were so positive. However, I found it nice but not spectacular. I did grow on me during the meal, so I might repeat. Then again, I might not.

      This is a staple in our house - it is way more than the sum of its parts. We often substitute several handfuls of arugula for the parsley for a more salad-y feel, but it's great both ways.

      Looking for a simple nutritious side to go with smoked pork ribs, this caught my eyes and curiosity. How good can cauliflower pieces and garbanzo beans baked for 40 min and dressed with mustard based dressing be? It is deceivingly good esp the nutty garbanzo beans. Added sliced onions too. Photo added. Will be repeating this one.

      This is also a staple side dish in our house. It's surprising how good it is and any leftovers keep well for lunch the next day.

      I used the cacao powder, and it was ok but not my favorite. The consistency was somehow off, though definitely creamy from the avocado. It would be better with 1/2 cup of frozen fruit- berries or mango or cherries would be nice.

      Pure comfort food for a cold fall/winter day. Loved the addition of chickpeas and red kuri squash to a hearty lamb stew. Marinating the meat in a simple yet delicious marinade overnight also contributed to this excellent flavor combination. Served over Kamut couscous to absorb the lovely sauce. Will definitely make again!!

      Delicious, I was happy with how flavoursome this was. I made the marinade after work, and left the first night of chicken in to marinate for about half an hour before cooking dinner, while the chicken for the second night went into the fridge to rest a bit longer.

      I can't count how many times we've made these - they are really delicious. If I am feeling lazy I just blitz all the flavorings in the food processor, to no ill effect. I've also doubled the recipe to make six oblong patties for bahn mi-style sandwiches, which were fantastic. I especially love them with sesame snap peas and blistered shisito peppers, but any Asian-inflected side works well.

      Easy weeknight dinner paired with the Korean Slaw. Really great flavour, much better than what I was expecting - mince everything small to make sure there is lots of flavour. I used a whole small red chilli and substituted spring onions for the shallots.

      I made this exactly as written. The patties are quite loose when uncooked and requires a careful handling on the grill until more set. I brushed each side with oil to make sure they did not stick. The flavor is excellent and so simple to make. These are good without any sauce but I served these with some Thai chili sauce and soy sauce/lime juice. The soy sauce/lime juice went better with these. A definite repeat.

      This salsa was absolutely delicious and would work well with a wide variety of fish as well as grilled chicken, or even just as a dip with tortilla chips. I used salmon rather than bass and it was a great combination. The leftover salsa and flaked fish tossed with quinoa made a fabulous lunch the next day.

      After roasting the eggplant there isn't really much inner flesh left, but I enjoyed the flavours of the eggplant when mixed with date molasses and mint. I skipped the tahini yoghurt.

      Quick, easy and filling soup. Tastes great hot or cold - lasts maybe 2 days in fridge. Good colour. I didn't strain as I liked the texture. I preferred fresh pepper to oil on top when serving.

      I used honey and agree with mytai's comment - need to watch the salt in this one. I reduced the fish sauce slightly in the dressing. We loved this salad and mixed through thinly sliced steak to make it a complete meal. Used more bok choy, skipped the cabbage, and substituted baby spinach for watercress. Mixed dressing in just before serving. We loved this dish, great dish for a hot night.

      This was very tasty - but the dressing is a bit salty, so go easy at first. (I used xylitol instead of honey - honey might cut the salt better). Goes incredibly well with the chicken in the Korean tacos recipe. Both held up really well as leftovers, and I thought tasted even better the next day.

      Quick stir fry using leftover brown rice. I didn't add the scallions or salt. First time I made this I added bean sprouts and served on a bed of baby spinach. Second time I served on the spinach but also topped the rice with a fried egg. Delicious and good mix of simple flavours.

      I'll make these again - very easy to make. I used carrots to replace half of the cucumbers which worked well. I also skipped the celery seed and used regular honey.

      These turned out delicious and were quite easy--I didn't have enough honey, so I subbed brown sugar. Will make again! One thing to note, the amount of cucumbers it called for filled a quart not a pint, and I needed to double the amount of brine. I actually made more like a quart and a cup, but needed to add more brine to cover the last of the pickles. I also didn't use all the onion called for, because it wouldn't have fit.

      Made this soup with pre-packages beets and also added the green stalks of the fennel (seemed a waste to throw them onto the compost heap), so it didn't turn out as pink as it should. However: very tasty. The sweetness of the beets and apple and the fennel complement each other very well. Use less of the stock if you want a thicker soup (I used 4 instead of 6 cups, still turned out great).

      Made this last night. I didn't use Basil as it is not in season here in NZ. I used Swiss Marigold Bouilon powder for the stock and added a good sprinkling of nutritional yeast powder also into the pot during the cooking process. I served this with extra grated lemon rind and juice plus more nutritional yeast. It was delicious and soupy. Will be making this again for sure. Perfect comfort food.

      Make sure the before-cooking mix doesn't get too soupy. Not sure if I didn't drain my ginger well enough or what, but it was a bit soggy and that's not a great thing. Tasted great though - like the filling of a very good dumpling.

      Something wonderfully simple about this but is is very good. Half the beet to roast it in a reasonable time. Sherry vinegar mixed with olive oil is a great combination - I didn't have pumpkin.

      Luckily I checked on this after 15 mins cooking time because it was already overcooked. Also, it doesn't make sense to use a deboned chicken, doesn't add anything and the meat dries out. Really the recipe is just a good cmbination of favors executed extremely poorly.

Despite the fact that I accidentally used coconut water instead of almond milk, it was delicious! I’m sure it will be just as wonderful with almond milk. I can’t wait to make this again!
