    This set is solid, but admittedly outdated. The idea of classics I think should be more timeless, BUT I’d still happily trade this out for a Joy of Cooking any day.

      Normally I find Martha Stewart recipes to be good. This cookie however is terrible. There is too much cocoa powder and definitely not enough sugar. The resulting cookie is bitter, not sweet or buttery enough. Better to pass on this one and search for a better recipe.

      Made on 10/16/12. Moist and delicious. Made half a recipe. Used chocolate ganache and raspberry sauce for topping.
