      Like bucatini - thick hollow spaghetti with the hole through all the length. Both used to make amatriciana. I added asparagus, roasted pork loin and simply cooked (not roasted) chestnuts. Very nice recipe.

  • Lemon-saffron millet pilaf

      This was easy and tasty. I omitted the saffron. Served it with braised turkey breast and gravy. I found after the 25 minute simmer, much of the liquid still remained and had to continue to simmer at least another 10 minutes. This was a great healthy substitute for mashed potatoes.
