      These were very quick and easy to make. The flavor was good though I'd probably prefer a more complex spice mix than just ground ginger.

      I've made this twice, once with challah bread and once with stale pain au chocolat. Absolutely delicious both times. It probably would have been even better if I'd left it steeping for 24 hours but I hadn't planned that far ahead. And a couple of hours soak still produced an amazing dessert. It's very rich - a great dessert for chocaholics.
