Notes about this book

  • jaelsne on January 20, 2010

This is a great book for those undergoing chemo or radiation. A lot of recipe ingredients come straight from the pantry--what I would call 1950's style cooking. The book has a great tuna casserole, lots of smoothies, etc. The author recommends foods for various side effects, such as mouth sores or loss of appetite. It's good for times when you're just too wiped out to put together a meal. On days when you're feeling up to it, try some of the fabulous recipes from "The Cancer Fighting Kitchen," my absolute fave healthy cookbook.
