SUGO DI SALSICCIA, PORCINI & PANCETTA FOR THE SCIALATIELLI - p. 139 - At once hearty and fresh with the earthy flavours from the porcini and the brightness of just-picked cherry tomatoes. A five ingredient sauce that was far greater than the sum of its parts I’m excited to try more dishes from this book. I used some of the porcini water and cooked it down as the pasta boiled. Publishers Text

The Amalfi Coast is one of Italy's magical spots: a sun-drenched land that looks like a glamorous filmset, it is bursting with lemon trees, breathtaking scenery, and food fit for a king. Join Katie Caldesi and her husband Giancarlo as they tackle the daring driving, precariously perched restaurants and hidden back alleys in search of the food that defines the area. From Positano to Ravello, you will be inspired by Katie's recipes, as well as the quirky locals she meets along the way. Feast on crispy pizza garnished with clouds of creamy mozzarella and fresh basil, delicious pastas drenched with tomato sauce and fresh seafood, and homemade tarts that taste like they're straight out of nonna's kitchen. From breakfast to cocktail hour, there's a recipe to suit every occasion. Illustrated with stunning photographs that capture the Sophia Loren-style and elegance of this favourite destination, The Amalfi Coast is a glorious and decadent celebration of the region.
