  • Chicken cordon bleu with new potatoes and salad

    • ancurambaire on November 07, 2022

The methodology for this recipe is completely incorrect in this book. It says to flatten a chicken breast between two sheets of clingfilm to a thickness of 2mm. It then says to slice the breast in half - near impossible unless you are a master surgeon. Sadly my husband followed the instructions literally and couldn't make it work. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03fgkh4 On viewing the TV clip showing James Martin preparing the dish on BBC TV, he... 1) slits the breast horizontally to open like a book 2) puts emmental cheese and ham on one side and then folds the breast closed 3) puts the filled breast between two sheets of clingfilm 4) flattens breast with rolling pin

This was awful ?? The glaze tastes great but really NOT for ribs …more like over ice cream !
