Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Dark chocolate brownies

    • OneAnd2 on September 03, 2021

The pecans with the bourbon make these a classic—and a family favorite.

  • Millionaire shortbread

  • Cajun-baked catfish

    • Aggie92 on June 30, 2016

Quick and easy oven-fried catfish for a weeknight dinner. Cut the recipe down by 3/4 since I was only baking 2 fillets. Skipped the butter and just used cooking spray to help the cornmeal crust brown in the oven. Served with butter beans, rice, and a tomato salad.

  • Peanutty coleslaw

    • Rinshin on December 21, 2018

One rank up recipe with wasabi taste that tells you it is there as an ending note. Used tube form of wasabi and subbed persimmon vinegar for regular which added fruitiness. Will be making this again with protein addition such as ham, chicken, or bbq brisket.
