Tried BBQ-gouda hasselback sweet potatoes pg 37. Burned on edges and still inedibly hard in the center. Very dry. A total failure.

Air fryer breakfast burritos pg 87. Who knew you could make scrambled eggs in the airfryer? The burritos are good, very mild. My only complaint is the chili powder discolors the eggs unpleasantly. It would have been better to sprinkle it on with the cheese and vegetable. It's a good make ahead dish but a very small-batch one.

Tried the garlic-herb Hasselback air-fried new potatoes on pg 36. They were fancy looking, yet easy to prepare. I loved the tips on how to cut the potatoes with chopsticks! The edges become crisp like chips, and the inner part of the potato is tender. Perfectly cooked and flavorful. I used lots of sage tiny leaves from the garden. Pesto on potatoes was novel for my husband, but he really liked it.
