Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Spicy black beans and rice

    • pitterpat4 on June 25, 2015

I didn't have Mexican style tomatoes on hand so used home-canned tomatoes and added cumin, cilantro and a touch of hot sauce. Needed more salt. Did well as leftovers - reheated well in the microwave the next day. Sprinkled a little cheese on it for extra protein. June 2015

  • Devil's food cake

    • TaffyDeb on August 02, 2018

Best with the 7-minute frosting found in the same book.

  • Peach-glazed pork tenderloin

    • vhague on January 02, 2014

      Delicious and easy.
