Notes about this book

It is an interesting life journey read.. with some amazing road and career trips, which explain a deal about her ethos... but if you want a Langbein cook book this is NOT it ;-)

This book is Annabel's life journey via food. In the 350'ish pages, the largest proportion are dedicated to her story. It is more biography than cookbook. However it is likely to appeal to lovers of her other books and those who enjoy the intertwining of stories and recipes. There are only 60 recipes, indicating the lower emphasis placed on this part of the content. Sadly, it is not a book for vegetarians - only 2 recipes are "proper" vegetarian recipes (ie main meals, not desserts, sweets, salads, dressings etc).
