Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Peanut crunch slice

    • Foodycat on August 10, 2018

Very simple, and not as sweet as you would imagine. I used an organic brown rice cereal instead of old skool rice bubbles and I think it lost its crunch, but the peanuts made up for it.

    • e_ballad on October 14, 2018

I also lost the crunch-factor, even using the rice bubbles, which resulted in them tasting a little stale in this cooked slice.

  • Berry trifle

    • e_ballad on October 26, 2018

A very easy trifle to put together. Wasn’t expecting it to be quite so citrusy, but enjoyed this against the sweetness of the berries.

  • Blueberry bran muffins

    • e_ballad on October 13, 2018

The flavour was great, though we weren’t too taken with the texture of these muffins.

  • Chocolate chippy cake

    • e_ballad on July 05, 2021

Delicious. I didn’t make the icing, but I don’t think it was lacking as a result.
