Cookbook authors and food aficionados Molly Stevens, Andrea Nguyen, Kate Leahy and Kristin Donnelly are the creators and hosts of Everything Cookbooks, a podcast for curious writers, readers, and cooks. Episodes provide behind-the-scenes information and stories about how cookbooks get made.

Of note, I had to learn the name of the Portuguese baking book that was discussed towards the end of the podcast. I reached out to our friend Matt at Kitchen Arts and Letters who informed me that the title of the book was Fabrico Próprio: The Design of Portuguese Semi-Industrial Confectionery. After spending a great deal of time trying to locate a copy of this book without success, I reached out to the writers/publishers who were kind enough to send me a copy of the second edition that they had on hand! It was Christmas in July. The book arrived from Lisbon yesterday and I am drooling over its contents. Look for a future post sharing more about this magnificent book.
