      A good basic recipe that fits what is called for in a sloppy joe. I did add Worchester sauce to the dish since I didn't have any hot sauce, and it helps with the flavor profile. I think having minced green peppers would also help next time.

      Wow. The cider sauce in the recipe is beyond tasty. The ham steaks are fried easily enough, and the sauce made in the pan with the reduced cider, drippings, mustard, and thyme is wonderful on the ham. One of the best dishes I've had with ham.

      Very good. The sauce was quite intense and can do without the help of the bacon bits.

      Tasty, for a spur of the moment dinner. I didn't have any cider but some orange juice that needed to be used up so I used that instead. It gave it a sour-sweet taste to the sauce, which was nice. Apples and pork go well together, and this recipe is no exception.
