Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Spicy turkey soup with jasmine rice and lemon grass

    • Laura on January 10, 2013

Pg. 52. This was pretty good. I didn't have a turkey carcass, just a pound of boneless turkey breast. So, used homemade chicken stock and poached the turkey meat, then shredded. I'm sure it would have been better had I been able to make it as written.

  • Hearty vegetarian Tuscan white bean soup

    • jenmacgregor18 on April 01, 2015

This is absolutely delicious. The whole family like it. Freezes well too. Canned beans are good in this and a little quicker. The slow cooker version of the recipe is good as well. I eventually want to try the variation with pancetta.

  • Asian chicken noodle soup

    • SACarlson on February 02, 2016

A very good, quick, after work soup that tasted great on a cold night!
