Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Pear, ginger, and lemon jam

    • KarinaFrancis on February 07, 2016

I didn't get a set with this jam so it was more of a conserve (I guess), but it tasted delicious. I used the excess syrup as the base for a steamed sponge, so it didn't go to waste. Will try it again one day

  • Mandarin marmalade

    • KarinaFrancis on February 07, 2016

Fresh and tangy marmalade. I've made it a couple of times and will do again

  • Lime marmalade

    • KarinaFrancis on February 07, 2016

It set very hard and turned out quite bitter, which is probably the nature of lime marmalade rather than any fault of the recipe. I won't try again

  • Cherry chutney

    • EmmaJaneDay on August 15, 2016

This is delicious. We're in a cherry growing area and made this with some cherries that were going to spoil. Very worth it!

  • Country garden chutney
